Transport
She knew that she has to go
That she cannot be in this part of the country
that she cannot be in this city
surrounded by everything that she knew
if she could she would have leaved her body behind too
rip open her chest
let the soul come out
drenched in blood
in memory
in all the shit that she has accumulated
but she didn’t
She needed her body
that tall redwood tree
that curvy ocean
to transport herself from there
she needed her foot to walk
her eyes to see
her lungs to inhale the time
her hair for sensation
and the list went on
she finally left
without telling anyone
with taking much
one morning she woke up
took her bag
and walked out
you could still hear the tune she was humming
and smell the perfume she was wearing
but she was gone
